- Mellon International Student Research: From June 2011 – May 2014, Mellon funded students to do international research for SGE as part of a Lewis & Clark overseas program, often extending their stay or returning to the site, or by identifying international projects on their own. - Mellon Summer Student-Faculty Research: During the summer of 2011, 2012, and 2013, student-faculty summer research teams (which could consist of up to three faculty and students total) pursued a variety of situated research topics throughout the Pacific Northwest, offering our students the opportunity to work alongside faculty members.
